Happy Thanksgiving!!!!! Even Maddie got a thanksgiving dinner. LordV gave her some turkey, stuffing, corn and covered it with gravy. To say the least, it disappeared quickly.

I hate red tape. This is what is happening....





Due to being disabled, I am eligible for the Home Choice loan. It is a loan for people who are disabled, to help them get a house by providing $10,000 toward a down payment or closing cost.



So, to get this loan, I have to get a note from my doctor, stating i am disabled, per American Disability Act and that I won't be cured in 3 years. (Duh, incurable disease here.)



I got the letter to my doctor, but the lender states, it wasn't phrased properly. So, again, we are waiting until Wednesday, for my doctor to get in. I composed a letter, with the specific phrasing that is needed. All she needs to do is put it on her letterhead and sign it. Then call me to pick it up and take it to the lender. The lender then gives it to the underwriters....



After all that, we need to take a class, to learn about budgeting and bringing our credit score up. Like we haven't brought our credit scores up.



Anyways, when all that happens....then we can in put an offer, finally.



Please, fingers and toes crossed, that by the time we get through all the red tape that the house is still available.

People have been asking me for pictures of the house, we are trying to get. Here you go:

As you can see, it needs a little help. New appliances to start and some of the carpet needs to be replaced, but hey, its a house.

Keep your fingers crossed for us. The house we were considering, was listed at $172,000. This morning my Real estate agent called to say that they were dropping the price on the house to $154,000 and considering we were the only ones to actually look at it and show interest in it....that they would hold off posting the price drop for 24 hours.



So, we are scrambling to coordinate everything with our lender, real estate agent and time. Wish us luck.

I know I haven't written in awhile, but I have been kind of taking time for myself.



LordV and I went on vacation to Chicago and Silverbow, Wolfbite and "the Boy", were nice enough to take care of Maddie for the week. I am told that she was the perfect house guest. Informing them, when she needed to be taken out. Not chasing the cats, sleeping with Wolfbite and "the Boy" at night. I am told that they all missed her, when we went home. Forgetting at times, that she wasn't there anymore. I am told she was a sweetheart and would be welcome for a visit at any time. I'm glad she wasn't a bother and was the polite houseguest.





LordV and I went to Chicago and found out the hard way that I am super Senitive to G forces. Take off and landings, caused me such an uncomfort that I was in tears. Then 4 hours on the plane, unable to move around, in the itty bitty seats, caused me to spasm in both my legs and back. I decided that my only saving grace was having LordV with me. He held my hand at take off, tried to take my mind off the pain, tried to make me giggle and laugh, no matter how uncomfortable I got.



I have also learned, that the next time I step off a plane, I am not going to refuse a wheelchair. Although I had my cane with me, it was demoralizing to walk so slow, on legs that were so unsteady.



LordV introduced me to "Real" Chicago pizza and hot dogs. He took me to the Science Museum. We went to see a Musical and had dinner at a piano bar. I also got to meet the rest of his family. LordV was brought up with his cousins, more like brothers.



I was nervous, as any girl would be, meeting the family of their intended. I had met his parents and Aunt once before, but living with them and meeting the rest of the family was a treat.



LordV's mom had the idea to get the family together for holiday photos and with LordV's dad working at a Portrait studio, it worked out perfectly.



I got to meet everyone and had some laughs as we were all getting our pictures taken. Here are some of the ones that we have picked.

The picture of LordV and his cousins. I love the attitude that comes across in this one. I thought LordV was tall, but his cousins were a tad taller. Steve (dark hair) was about 6'6", a big hulking man, but with a kind heart. Kevin (blond hair) was only an inch or two taller than LordV, liked to tease LordV, that his hair was now longer than LordV's.



I knew I was accepted by them, when they each hugged me and whispered to me, that they have never seen him look so happy and to keep taking care of him.....I was touched.











We were given an option of adding a poem on the side and LordV felt that this one, was perfect for us.

To say the least, we had a good time.





Right now, I am waiting to see my Neurologist. I have been feeling majorly fatigued lately, sleeping alot. So, I don't want to tempt fate. Its been 3 years since my last MS attack and at least 1 1/2 years since I saw the last Neurologist. Dr. Hertzog, wasn't very professional and reminded me of House, M.D. He seemed to want to antagonize me.



He insisted that I didn't have MS, because I walked in fine. He berated me for wasting his time. I handed him my Medical information, including all the DVD's of my MRI's and sat back to wait. He came back to state, "So, you have MS. What do you want me to do about it?" I just walked out



Hopefully the new doctor that I am seeing, won't hold it against me, that I am in remission, showing no signs or symptoms. I am takng care of myself, stretching everyday and trying to get all the vitamins and supplements that are recommended for my condition.



Once I see the Neurologist, I will get a note, that states that my MS is not going to be cured in 3 years. With that letter, I can take a class, to be eligible to get a Home Choice loan. It will give us more options, while looking for houses.
